Jason Haney was selected to be CEO of ecoREHAB in the Fall of 2019. He is a staunch believer in second chances for houses and people. The latter inspired him to create S.T.E.P. (Skilled Trades Education Program) in the fall of 2020. After nearly a decade with Habitat for Humanity, he saw firsthand the pride and self-confidence that comes when people work together to build, or rehab, a home for others. Inspired by that work he began to craft his vision of creating opportunities in the construction industry for those that are unemployed or underemployed, looking to create a better life for themselves.

Jason has been with his beautiful wife Stephanie for over 10 years and he has two amazing kids Drew and Maliyah (“Nex”). Together they live in their historic home near downtown Muncie built in 1906. His hobbies include listening to music and going to live shows, hiking, kayaking, and he never misses a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game.
