Dan Royer is an Accounting and Finance lecturer at Ball State University. His work background includes a lengthy career with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois where he served as a supervisor in cash disbursements, a cost analyst, and a Medicare auditor.

For a period of time, he and his wife led congregations in rural Canada and Western Indiana. More recently, he worked for a number of years with a community development corporation in Indianapolis as an accountant. He began teaching in 2008 for a number of different colleges and universities prior to working at Ball State University.

Dan’s hobbies are reading, writing, and music. He has been married for 46 years, with 2 children and 6 grandchildren.
