Meet retired school teacher Norma Ruttan. She moved from a mobile home into her “dream house,” an inviting, efficient home ecoREHAB transformed from an abandoned lot.
“My neighbors have seen this investment, and it has encouraged us all to be the change in our community, and to create a sense of belonging,” the Muncie native said. “Our light must shine out the darkness.”
ecoREHAB invested proceeds from the sale of Norma’s home into purchasing the house next door to rehabilitate. That is building community in action.
